Our personal home — what many casually call “Edan Center” right now — is, in reality, still our home. AND YET, it’s also the active proving ground of everything God’s been building in us.
Our home is more than shelter; it's the seedbed of the vision. Although we’re not officially registered or tied to any government agency, we’ve
opened our doors in raw obedience to the call - A sacred family-style sober living home. Housing individuals in need, where men and women coming out of addiction, incarceration, homelessness or fleeing DV situations can be stabilized in a Christ-centered environment. Finding safety, covering, and biblical structure under our roof. It’s a high-demand, high-impact mission field that we carry as part of our daily life.
Residents engage in morning prayer, job training, weekly mentoring and community service. It’s more than a bed — it’s a greenhouse for transformation. We believe healing happens best in healthy environments. So we create them. We hold space for social worker and probation meetings, family visitations, birthday parties, and family
reunifications. Additionally holding groups, meetings and classes in house.
Our home is the training ground where the framework woven with all the different branches is being lived out in real time. We're not waiting for
buildings or funding — we’re doing it now, under our own roof, sacrificing comfort and privacy because the need is too great and the calling clear.
Our home is both sanctuary and strategy — a first fruit of the larger vision to come. This intentional hospitality, offered in a deeply personal space, creates an environment of belonging and safety where healing can begin in this hands-on implementation shapes our methods and
deepens our understanding of what works — allowing us to refine and expand the vision with wisdom born
from experience.
